A: We are scholars of innovation management who scrutinised academic literature to understand what the most important factors of successful innovation management are. From this process we identified nine key areas that have the greatest impact on successful innovation outcomes. We then utilised validated scales for developing our survey instruments to ensure we capture the correct data.
A: There are two surveys that ask innovation-related questions about your company. The top management team provides input in the first survey, while a randomly selected sample of employees participate in the second survey. The majority of questions are subjective in nature, utilising 7-point Likert-type scales. There are no open-ended questions.
A: The first (managerial) survey takes on average about 30 minutes to complete, while the second survey conducted among staff can be completed in less than 20 minutes.
A: Participants are sent a link to the survey and they can complete it in their own time wherever they feel comfortable - on their desktop, mobile phone or tablet.
A: The findings from both surveys are presented in easy-to-use and understand online dashboards. Corresponding best-practice advice is also provided and linked to more credible information on each topic. However, for situations where additional support is required, DeltaDfX provides a complete system that comes with full support from our expert team and associated innovation consultants.
A: Confidentiality is crucial to the effectiveness of the DeltaDfX system. No report or dashboard will be generated if the response size isn't large enough to ensure confidentiality. Because people know their responses are confidential, they are honest - which means you can trust that the findings you are receiving is genuine.
A: Results can be viewed almost instantaneously (as soon as enough people have responded to ensure individuals can't be identified by their demographics). For most businesses, this will be a matter of hours, if not minutes. We typically allow a period of two weeks for people to complete the surveys.
A: While the collected data reside on our cloud-based servers and while the findings are displayed in a secure area on our platform, the Client company owns the data, including visualised and narrated findings. Clients can at any time choose to close their online profiles and have their data removed from our servers. However, the aggregate innovation indices will remain in our anoymous industry database while we keep building our national and international innovation indices.
